Once we received your request for income tax assistance, we will send you a form (Standard SARS consent form) that you need to sign giving us permission to file your income tax.

 

Once you send this form back to us, one of our friendly Tax Professionals will request your documents, SARS eFiling login credentials (if you have this), medical aid certificates (if required), and any other documents e.g SARS Log Books, Retirement Annuity Certificates, Receipts.

 

Once all these documents was received our Tax Consultant will review your income tax history by requesting your SARS tax file from the service if you do not have an eFiling account.

 

If all is in order the Tax Professional will submit your assessment based on all information supplied and send you a ITSA document and your ITA34 assessment. The ITSA is the Statement of account which shows you the status of your account (sort of like a Account Statement). The ITA34 is the Assessment which shows you how we and SARS came to the calculation of your income tax. You can review all these documents and give us a call if you need further clarification.

 

Once this is done SARS will make the refund into your account within 48 hours, or in case of you needing to make a payment, the ITSA will show you the amount with the required payment details. If you have been selected for a review or full audit, your refund may be delayed by up to 30 days.

 

JVS Tax Consultants (My Income Tax) will only file your return as per information supplied. Submitting your income tax via our Windows Phone App works the same way.

 

We will then send you our invoice as per services rendered. We will always send you a quote before we file your return so that you know exactly what the fee will be.
